Counselling Service

Dear students and employees of the University of Zagreb Student Centre!

Within the student dormitory "Cvjetno naselje", you can make use of FREE counselling services. Counselling will be held at pre-arranged times and is available to all students using the services of University of Zagreb Student Centre, as well as to employees of the University of Zagreb Student Centre.

Students may attend by prior appointment, arranged via the following contact phone numbers: 01 4593 660 and 091 4593 579. You can arrange an appointment by calling or via WhatsApp.

Counselling is provided by the deputy manager for student and employee support, work organisation and general affairs, and the areas of work

• with students relate to:

– difficulties adjusting to a new place of residence, studies, or environment;

– anxiety disorders (panic attacks, worry, fears and phobias);

– difficulties in relationships with others, shyness, fear of public speaking;

– mood changes, loss of interest, withdrawal, depressive states;

– difficulties in studying, time and material organisation, difficulties in passing exams;

– eating disorders, psychoactive drug abuse and other forms of addiction;

– raising awareness about controlling and preventing the spread of illness; and

– other difficulties in the area of personal growth and development.

• with employees of the University of Zagreb Student Centre relate to:

– protection of life, health, privacy and dignity, and prevention of harassment of employees;

– prevention of employee sick leave and general information.

In the event of greater demand, students will be seen according to the urgency of the issues they report when applying for counselling.
