Students who have been awarded financial support for accommodation with private landlords (subsidy) under the Call for Applications for Subsidised Accommodation in Student Dormitories, specifically in dormitories scheduled to undergo reconstruction, in the amount of €152.00 per month (quota of 906 students), have been notified electronically.

The allocation of student accommodation has been carried out in accordance with the available capacity of the student dormitories operated by the University of Zagreb Student Centre and based on the students’ selections regarding accommodation in student dormitories, submitted via their personal web profiles.

Students are requested to select one of the available options in their personal web profile, in accordance with the notice and the email they have received, regarding either accommodation in a student dormitory or the exclusive use of the subsidy for accommodation with a private landlord. Students who have been granted the right to accommodation following the reduction of the points threshold and have selected the student dormitory accommodation option may move into the student dormitories from 6 October 2026 to 13 October 2026.

The “Dr. Andrija Štampar” Teaching Institute of Public Health has provided a list of individuals who, due to their medical conditions, require accommodation in a single room, as well as a list of individuals who, due to medical contraindications, must not be accommodated in a single room.

The University of Zagreb Student Centre, following the results of the Call for applications for exercising the right to subsidised accommodation in student dormitories, enables students to reserve a room online.

Accommodation in student dormitories can be paid online throughout the academic year. This lets students settle any outstanding debts as well as pay rent one month in advance.

Transfer applications are filled in by students who have been granted the right to accommodation and have a justified reason for wanting to move from one student dormitory to another. There is no time limit within which the transfer must be arranged. Students may submit transfer applications in person, by post or by e-mail (poslovnica@sczg.hr).

Today, 06.08.2026., during the day, the accommodation support payment for students renting from private landlords in the area of Grad Zagreb and Zagrebačka županija will be made to students who have signed the contract and who have been granted the right to this support for the academic year 2025/2026.

Based on the Decision on the amount of subsidies and quota for subsidised accommodation in the academic year 2025/26 by the Ministarstvo znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih, CLASS: 602-01/25-03/00077, REG. NO: 533-04-25-0001, the total quota for accommodation with a private landlord in the area of the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County is 1000. In accordance with the MZOM quota for accommodation with private landlords, the points threshold has been lowered.
