C A L L F O R A P P L I C A T I O N S for the allocation of places for students in regular status for subsidised accommodation in student dormitories of the University of Zagreb Student Centre in the academic year 2026/2027.
On the basis of the Ordinance on the conditions and manner of exercising the rights of full-time students to subsidised accommodation (Narodne novine, No. 68/2023 and 77/2024) of the Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih (hereinafter: MZOM), the University of Zagreb Student Centre (hereinafter: SCZG) announces:

I GENERAL PROVISIONS
The right to subsidised accommodation in a student dormitory in the academic year 2026/2027 is granted to:
1. Students enrolled at higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia with full-time status, who are citizens of the Republic of Croatia,
2. Students enrolled at higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia with full-time status, who are citizens of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, as well as students who are persons in accordance with the Act on International and Temporary Protection,
3. Students with disabilities enrolled in doctoral programmes,
4. Students, in accordance with special decisions of MZOM,
who are not in an employment relationship or do not carry out an independent craft or other freelance activity, except for students who perform work under a service contract or a copyright contract.
Applications are submitted exclusively online, by completing the web application and uploading the required documentation at: https://natjecaj.sczg.hr/student
PDF versions of the forms required for the application to the call for applications, which need to be uploaded to the web application after certification:

You do not need to download these here if you have already printed them out when completing the web application.
Students who are applying and school-leavers who will be enrolling in the first year of study for the first time in the academic year 2026/2027 (freshers) submit their applications exclusively online, by completing the web application and uploading the required documentation during the period:
from 8 July to 24 July 2026.
(web applications submitted on 24 July 2026 until 23:59 will be taken into account)

Applications are considered valid if they are submitted with complete documentation and in the manner defined in the public call for applications, within the prescribed deadline.
